Covering Vocalion's complete 14000 series of 1920–1925 — a diverse catalog that included many jazz, blues, country, and ethnic releases in addition to the popular songs and dance-band numbers of the day.

Details include composer and show credits; accompanists and band vocalists; artist aliases; medley contents; matrix numbers; official release dates; recording locations; an examination of verifiable vs. speculative recording dates, with a listing of speculative dates that have appeared in other works; and data on the numerous corresponding 78-rpm U.S. and foreign releases.

This fully searchable CD also includes an illustrated introduction covering the history of the Vocalion label through its takeover by Brunswick-Balke-Collender in 1925.

This Windows CD-ROM will run on all Windows PCs, as well as Mac OS-X computers, or on other Macs equipped with CD drives capable of reading PC-formatted discs.

Auto-start is disabled for Mac; the file can be opened directly from the desktop or directory.
