(1928)  The Pathé Phonograph & Radio Corporation produced The Music Hour only briefly, probably in mid-to-late 1928. The sample shown was recorded around March 1928 and was released under the identical catalog number on the Pathé Actuelle label. Interestingly, several vocal blues from Pathé's short-lived race-record series also appeared on The Music Hour under their original numbers in 1928. No trace of a retailer or distributor for this rare label has been found. |
