The following checklist — which lists all verified
Murray records appearing on labels produced by Leeds
& Catlin — is presented as an aid to collectors attempting
to complete their Murray collections, and also in the hopes that collectors
can fill in any missing numbers. This list is in the public domain and
may be freely reproduced and distributed without permission.
We have full discographic data for the records listed here,
which will be published in full in an upcoming work from Mainspring Press
— but we would appreciate an e-mail from
anyone who owns verifiable Murray items on these or other Leeds
labels that are not listed here (but please do not send data from hobbyist Murray sites, which contain errors copied from secondary sources.)
Our thanks to the many thoughtful contributors
to Mainspring Online Discography Project, who have already added so much
information to this checklist!
