Mainspring Press welcomes purchase orders from dealers, distributors, and institutions.

To qualify, you must provide a verifiable tax-exempt or business license number, a physical location for your business or institution (no post-office box numbers, please), and a working phone number.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, or checks and money orders payable in U.S. dollars at a U.S. bank.

Foreign orders must be pre-paid unless credit has been arranged in advance. Customers outside the U.S. should contact us in advance for further information and shipping charges. Foreign customers must supply a VAT or other tax-exempt number to avoid paying customs fees.

Mainspring Press reserves the right to decline credit at its sole discretion.

LATE PAYMENTS:

Simple interest of 5% per month will accrue past-due balances. Payments not received within 120 calendar days of our shipping date will be referred for collection.

Please Note: A valid tax-exempt number is required to qualify for reseller terms. Specials, and items from publishers others than Mainspring Press, are not eligible for discounts. Please write or e-mail us with any questions before ordering.

Shipping: Shipping to U.S. addresses is free via USPS Media Mail.

Return Policies: Books purchased at returnable rates may be returned for a cash refund provided your package is postmarked within 60 calendar days of our shipping date. Returns must be accompanied by a copy of the invoice or sales receipt. Refunds will not be made on marked, shopworn, or damaged books (other than defective copies or copies damaged in shipment), or on returns postmarked later than 60 calendar days from our shipping date. A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from refunds for shrinkwrapped books that have been unsealed. Return shipment is at buyer's risk and expense. Non-returnable purchases may be returned only in the case of damaged or defective copies, which will be exchanged for the same title(s); no cash refunds will be made for books purchased at non-returnable rates.

Customers outside the U.S: Please e-mail us in advance for shipping fees and further information. We do not ship to all nations, and we usually require full pre-payment of foreign commercial orders, including overseas shipping charges. Please note that a VAT or other tax-exempt number is required to avoid paying customs on foreign orders.

INSTITUTIONAL PURCHASE ORDERS AND TERMS

We accept purchase orders from qualified libraries and educational institutions. We do not offer institutional discounts at this time.

Terms are 60-days net from date of invoice. Institutional purchase orders must include a purchase-order number or other authorization number; name and department of purchaser; and full contact information. Returns must be postmarked within 60 calendar days of our shipping date, and must be in unused condition, to qualify for a refund.

Mainspring Press titles may also be ordered through most standard distributors, including Blackwell's and YBP — but to avoid distributor mark-ups and delays, we recommend that you order directly from us.
